Dr. Kathryn Combs Kathryn is a Rockingham county native. She graduated in 1981 with a degree in veterinary medicine from Auburn University. She has happily been at Lewis Veterinary Clinic since 2009 serving the pets and people who love them. She still loves working in the animal health field because she loves the area, the people and their pets! Her hobbies include fishing, gardening and farming. On her farm she has a wide variety of animals like cattle, horses, llamas, cats, dogs and guineas.

Dr. Mindy Price Dr. Price is a Wisconsin native that moved to beautiful North Carolina in 2013. She started her career in veterinary medicine working in emergency medicine and then moved to working as a mixed animal practitioner. She met Kathryn Combs in 2017 and started working with Lewis Veterinary Clinic in 2018. Her special interests include: Dermatology (for all those itching dogs and cats!) and Surgery.
True to her Wisconsin roots, she has a herd of beef cows and spends her free time working with them. She also has horses, cats, sheep, and three dogs, Zipporah ("Zippy") and Temple. Zippy is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie Mix and Temple and Revelation are Border Collies. They all love "helping" her around the farm. They also love working on training for herding with the sheep and cattle.
She was honored to be voted as the NCVMA's Young Veterinarian of the Year for 2015. Being passionate about veterinary medicine, she has been honored to be serving as a District Representative in the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.

Linda Yarbrough We have been happy to have Linda here at Lewis Veterinary Clinic since 2015. She has a passion for animals like no other! When she is not with us and making barn quilts she enjoys ridding her horses and doing different crafts. Scooter is her horse and Margie is her mule she also has two dogs named Jack and Smokey, the fire station dog, and three cats named kitty kitty, Sheba and Ms. Tiger.

Brenda Horsley Brenda has been working in the veterinary field for 18 years. We are happy to have her experience here at Lewis Veterinary Clinic since 2016. Her passion for animal health is unmatched and she enjoys learning new things about the field. Brenda has a soft spot for stray cats and does a great job caring and feeding them close to her home. She has two cats of her own (Wittle and Whitie) and dog named Hootie. During her free time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and quilting.

Chelsea Thompson Chelsea came to Lewis Veterinary Clinic in January of 2018. She has a history of working with animals since she was young girl, but in 2011 she started to pursue her dream of working in the veterinary field. She is very excited to join our team and continue learning more about veterinary medicine. She is the proud parent of Obe-Wan (a Italian greyhound), Emily (a Calico), Bernie (a betta fish) and Whitie (a horse.) In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors and painting.
